Legendary NFL Player, diagnosed with ALS, Joins Santa Clara IT Executive Dinner

Santa Clara, CA (C10)-  On May 9th, C10 had the pleasure of hosting an IT Executive Date Night Dinner in Santa Clara, CA with a very special guest, 49ers NFL legend Dwight Clark. Clark is most famous for "The Catch”, The touchdown that sent the 49ers to their first Super Bowl ever. It was honored as the No. 1 play ever during the 49ers' 1982 season.

Earlier this year, Dwight announced that he had been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease.

At the dinner, Dwight opened up about his battle with ALS to the group of IT Executives that attended with their guests. He spoke to each guest in the room personally and told stories of his incredible career. Despite his condition, he was so positive and inspiring. It was truly a powerful evening with stories that will never be forgotten.

The C10 IT Executive Dinners are unlike typical gatherings of IT Leaders. As a private, invite-only event, the dinners are held for intimate gatherings of up to 15 C-Level and VP Executives, plus their spouse or guest. This experience offers a unique way of building relationships with peers, and the chance to meet a special guest, such as Dwight Clark. These dinners offer huge potential for gaining lifelong relationships with peers.gs of IT Leaders. C10 would like to thank you to Tintri, an IT Company based out of Mountain View, CA which provides the agility of public cloud in your data center, for sponsoring this dinner.
